Investment Studies Center (ISC), the training arm of Union of Investment Companies (UIC), organized a training program on “Technical Analysis for Stocks Strategies Followed By Wall Street Traders,” during the period 12th – 14th May 2024 at UIC premises.
Mrs. Fadwa Darwish, the UIC Secretary-General, stated that financial markets are an exciting and complex field at the same time, as investors deal with a variety of assets and risks. In order to succeed in this field, investors need a deep understanding of market analysis and making sound investment decisions.
From this standpoint, ISC organized this training program with the aim of providing trainees with the knowledge and skills necessary to analyze stocks using technical analytical methods, as well as providing trainees with a comprehensive understanding of technical analysis and its methods, and how to apply them to stock markets by analyzing past price movements, where technical analysts can identify patterns and trends that can help predict future price movements.
Moreover, the importance of this program lies in the fact that technical analysis can also help investors manage risks by placing stop-loss orders and identifying key support and resistance levels, which can help protect against significant losses and maximize potential profits.
At the conclusion of her statement, Mrs. Fadwa Darwish stressed the Union’s commitment to achieving one of its basic goals of actively contributing to developing the professional level of companies’ cadres and employees and all those interested by providing the best services and training programs designed in accordance with the best international practices to meet the training needs of companies.
